How to get from Athens Airport to Lavrio Port by bus

There is no direct bus route from Athens Airport to Lavrio. However, KTEL Attikis buses operate from the airport to Markopoulo until 22:00. At the “Markopoulo stop,” you can transfer to another KTEL bus heading to the Lavrio cruise terminal. The journey to Markopoulo takes only 10 minutes. Also you can use train from Athens airport to “Nomismatokopio” station and then take the bus direct to Lavrio. For both option bear in mind that when you get to Lavrio you’ll need to take a short taxi or walk to the port.

Departure Point: The bus terminal is between the Exits 2 and 3 of airport’s arrivals level (opposite hotel Sofitel) Destination “Markopoulo

Change bus: Destination to Lavrio
Ticket price: There are only one-way tickets and cost 3,00 €. You can buy your tickets from the bus driver when you get on the bus. Children under 6 years can travel free. The second ticket price cost 5.00 €

OPTION 2

Departure Point: Train Terminal. Destination to “Nomismatokopio” station.

Transit to bus: Destination to Lavrio
Ticket price: There are only one-way tickets and cost 5,00 € – 7,00 €. You can buy your tickets from the bus driver when you get on the bus. Children under 6 years can travel free.



From Athens center to Lavrio Port by bus

Subway: Athens center to “Nomismatokopio” station
Ticket price: 1,20 €

Transit to bus: “Nomismatokopio” to Lavrio
Ticket price: There are only one-way tickets and cost 5,00 € – 7,00 €. You can buy your tickets from the bus driver when you get on the bus. Children under 6 years can travel free.
